This year I taught Towards Publication in RMIT’s Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing. There were two streams: a writing stream (taught by Melanie Ostell) and a publishing stream. All 30 Towards Publication students submitted two pieces to an anthology via submittable.com and the publishing stream took it from there. Selection, allocation of editors, creation of a style guide, editing, briefing our wonderful cover designer, Josh Durham of Design by Committee, layout, proofreading and publicity.

Fourteen weeks later, we launched Post Hoc and I couldn’t be prouder of their work.
