This was an important project with a clear design brief. “We need something people can print out on the ground in Africa and use straight away.” Lots of white space, engaging images and original illustrations by Steph Hughes did the job nicely.

This guide provides a summary of advice on good practices for more sustainable irrigation on smallholder schemes across Africa. It is drawn from  knowledge generated through four years of research intervention at six irrigation schemes in Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
