It’s not often that my worlds collide quite so convincingly. My designer heart leapt a little when my copy of stylist Megan Morton‘s It’s beautiful here* arrived. This is an absolutely gorgeous hardback book, designed by Evi O. My role was to wrangle the words. The book contains a mixture of interviews, tips, musings and loving descriptions of intimate spaces, all written in Megan’s distinctive style. The editing challenge was to retain her voice and make sure the reader got the information they needed, while not distracting from Brooke Holm‘s stunning photography (which is the real hero of the book).

Also, one of the Q&As was with Hanya Yanagihara, so officially I’ve now edited Hanya too. That’s my story, anyway.
