Another year, another comedy festival. This year was even more fun than usual, because my son has turned 18 so he got to don a bright pink t-shirt and stand on the steps of the Melbourne Town Hall and wrangle a flood of excited punters. My work was pretty much business as usual: press ads, Daily Diaries, posters, flyers, programs, signage, novelty cheques, t-shirts, passes, web tiles . . . a tiny contribution to all the things that are needed to make one of the world’s biggest comedy festivals have another great year.

Fingers crossed I get the gig again in 2018.
