The State Library of WA just announced the shortlisted books in the WA Premier’s Writing for Children Award and How to Win a Nobel Prize is on it. I’m not sure if I’m more excited by that fact alone, or the realisation that one of the other books is Grandpa, Me & Poetry by legendary Australian author Sally Morgan. Normally, I’d now be all focused on the endgame (the announcement of the winner on 26 July) but I seriously COULD NOT CARE LESS. My heart is already full.
