On Friday, Left & Right was announced as an Honour Book at the Children’s Book Council of Australia 2018 Book of the Year Awards, in the Eve Pownall Information Book category. I was delighted to be alongside Claire Saxby and the legendary Julie Vivas, creators of the other Honour Book, Koala, and thrilled for Idan Ben-Barak and Julian Frost for their Book of the Year Award for the brilliant Don’t Lick This Book.
