This week, I fronted up to a panel with Sandra Duncanson, Lu Sexton and Editors Victoria Communication Officer and newsletter editor, Margie Beilharz, to talk about our experience of finding work as a freelancer. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and also to meet a stack of new editors and editing students who are ready to launch their own freelance careers. The takeaways? Be good at what you do, remember you are also a business owner, and join IPEd! There will be a report on the meeting in an upcoming Editors Victoria newsletter.
