I was stoked (and daunted) to be asked to host a panel discussion at the Emerging Writers Festival National Conference called Emerging at Any Age. My fellow panelists were outrageously talented, articulate and thoughtful women, who made my job extraordinarily easy. We discussed privilege, class, discrimination, gender, regrets and missed opportunities, and the joys of finding we had stories to tell that people wanted to publish (!) and read. I urge you to seek out their books and find out more about them.
