2021 was another year of online learning for students in RMIT’s Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing. Despite that, the Towards Publication team produced another professional-standard anthology. Compiled from contributions from all the final-year students, edited and produced by the anthology stream (using Collaborate, Zoom, Trello, Slack and Google Drive – and discovering all the pitfalls of those platforms), and with a cover designed (yet again) by Josh Durham of Design by Committee, Rise is a stunning book that they should all be very proud of. It was a pleasure to mentor them through this process.
